  • Todd A. Whitler LCAC, LCSW

    Owner and Clinician

    Todd has over 20 years of experience in social services and has worked with a diverse population. Todd obtained his degree in Sociology with emphasis in Criminal Justice and his Master’s in Social Work both from the University of Southern Indiana. Todd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. Todd is very passionate about his work, always going the extra mile for his clients and clinicians.

    Apart from work, Todd enjoys golfing and attending live sporting events. Todd is very spontaneous and enjoys traveling.

  • Todd M. Kuester LCSW

    Clinician, Supervisor, Outpatient Therapist

    Todd Kuester attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Evansville and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana shortly after. Todd currently holds his License in Clinical Social Work. Todd has had over twenty years of combined experience working with people with developmental disabilities and within the social work field. Todd states what he enjoys most about his work is seeing his clients succeed at something they never thought they could do or had been told they could never do.

    Todd resides in Evansville Indiana with his wife and three adopted children. Outside of work, Todd enjoys listening to music, watching Cardinals Baseball, watching Notre Dame Football, spending time with his family and friends, playing disc golf, and watching professional golf.

  • Shayna L. Ray

    Behavioral Consultant

    Shayna went to the University of Indiana and attained her Bachelors in Social Work. Shayna later attained her Master’s in Social Work in 2012. Shayna has completed internships at Good Samaritan Home, Life Choices Maternity and Youth, and The Villages. Shayna has 4 years of experience in working with the Medicaid waiver. Shayna is very patient and organized. Shayna has a strong ability to be relatable and very easy to communicate with.

    Shayna is married with two children, a boy and a girl. Shayna values her family and enjoys spending time with them. Shayna is very outgoing, however she lives at an introvert lifestyle. Shayna is a Christian and is a dedicated member to The Hills Church.

    Some of Shayna’s hobbies are attending Broadway plays, traveling , going out to eat, and spending time with her family. Shayna enjoys reading, and is a very big fan of the Harry Potter series.

  • Ashley N. Benoit BCBA

    Applied Behavioral Analysis Supervisor/ Consultant

    Ashley Benoit has always had a passion for educating others. She received her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University- Bloomington and her master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Ball State University. After earning her master's in 2016, Ashley became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Ashley's experiences include 5 years of teaching, 3 years working as a Social Emotional Learning specialist and 4 years working in the clinical ABA setting. Ashley enjoys providing training and supervising graduate students pursuing their BCBA credential. Her passion comes from combining her experiences in the classroom with her love for the dissemination of ABA principles.

    When she isn't working Ashley loves to spend time with her husband, family and friends. When they aren't watching movies, playing games or trying new restaurants, they are typically at the high school where her husband coaches lacrosse and soccer. Ashley also loves yoga, meditation and journaling in her spare time.

  • Lauren Cosgrave LSW

    Business Development and Intake Coordinator, Behavioral Consultant, Outpatient Therapist

    Lauren Cosgrave received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in May of 2022. She then received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in May of 2024. Lauren's goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Lauren has completed internships at Carver Community Center, Dream Center Evansville, and Empowerment Behavioral Services. Lauren is reliable, passionate, and dedicated to helping others.

    Lauren is originally from a Southwest suburb of Chicago but has been in Evansville for five years. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, traveling, and hiking with her dog Maisy. Lauren has been to over fifty concerts and plans to continue growing that number.

  • Cassidy Cosgrave

    Administrative Staff and Participant Assistance & Care

    Cassidy Cosgrave is currently attending the University of Southern Indiana to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She plans to graduate in 2026.

    When she isn’t working or attending classes, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and traveling. Cassidy has lived in Evansville since 2022 but is originally from Oswego, IL.

  • Rachel Oberholtzer

    Participant Assistance & Care

    Rachel’s journey into Social Work was inspired by her upbringing with foster siblings. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors Degree in Human Services. She received minors in Psychology and Human Right Studies along with a certificate in Entrepreneurship. Rachel is working on obtaining her Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Southern Indiana. Her goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide services wherever life and her community takes her.

    Rachel was born and raised in Evansville Indiana but visits Florida or anywhere with warmer weather often. Rachel enjoys attending concerts, playing sports, traveling abroad, going to church, and most importantly spending time with friends and family. She has an easy-going spirit, that is always seeking new and exciting adventures!

  • Jessica McKeethen

    Participant Assistance & Care

    Jessica is currently attending the University of Southern Indiana  to obtain her Masters of Social Work. Jessica started her journey into social work at Vincennes University, graduating in 2019 with an Associates of Social Work. In Fall 2019, Jessica attended the University of Southern Indiana to obtain her Bachelors of Social Work, with a minor in Psychology. 

    Jessica is originally from Evansville, IN. When Jessica is not working, she enjoys many things. She enjoys walking and playing with her Great Dane, reading books, journaling, hiking, and traveling to see family and friends.

  • Lane St Clair

    Participant Assistance & Care

    Lane is currently a student at the University of Southern Indiana and plans on graduating in 2025 with a B.A. in Global Studies and a minor in Communication Studies.  She has a history of cross-cultural mission work and wants to continue to do that in whatever career she is in. 

    Lane was born and raised in Evansville, IN and loves to attend church and Bible study, volunteer as a Young Life leader, spend time with friends and family, and be outside as much as possible.  She loves a good movie night and loves meeting new people!


  • Elizabeth Rice

    Elizabeth Rice

    Participant Assistance & Care

    Elizabeth is currently a sophomore at the University of Southern Indiana and is in the Social Work major with a minor in German. In high school she was a part of Best Buddies and Unified Track which led her into choosing social work as a major.

    Elizabeth is from Bloomington, Indiana, and is a fan of the Hoosiers! In her free time, she enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, watching basketball, and hanging out with friends and family. 


  • Gabrielle Priar

    Behavioral Consultant

    Gabrielle is originally from St. Louis, MO, but has lived here in Evansville for 8 years. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in both Special Education and Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana. She then got her Master’s in Special Education with a Certificate in Emotional and Behavioral Disorders from Ball State University. She has previously taught special education for 4 years, and has been working in waiver services for a year now. Gabrielle has 2 pit bulls, loves to travel, and spend time with her husband and friends. She also enjoys getting coffee and doing spontaneous things. She loves helping her clients reach their goals and advocate for themselves. 

  • Lee Moore

    MSW Intern

    Lee Moore is a graduate student at the University of Southern Indiana, pursuing a master's degree in social work. He got his bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Southern Indiana. Lee has done internships around Evansville at Deaconess Cross Pointe and Evansville State Hospital, and worked for Apex Behavioral Services before finding his way to Empowerment Behavioral Services LLC for his generalists and clinical internship for his master's in Social Work. Lee has a very easy-going personality and loves to help others whether it is outside of work or at work. 

    Lee is originally from the south suburbs of Chicago where he got his passion for helping people by feeding the homeless in the Chicago area. In his free time, he loves to find and listen to new music, spend time with friends, and travel around to different places no matter how far it is.

  • Alisha Scott

    Participant Assistance & Care Coordinator

    Alisha is from Evansville, Indiana. In her free time, when she's not working, she is playing with her dog Zoey, hanging out with her family, or relaxing at home. Alisha has a background working in ABA. She worked at LittleStar before finding her way to Empowerment Behavioral Services, LLC. She also has a brother with autism. She has an easy-going spirit and loves to meet new people. Alisha enjoys painting, making t-shirts with her cricut, baking, taking walks, listening to music, and watching movies. She loves helping others and loves making a positive impact on clients' lives.
